How to Approve a Crew Join Request
Short answer
Open the Crew as an owner or admin, find JOIN REQUESTS, and tap ACCEPT or DECLINE beside the requester.
Steps
- Open CREWS and select the Crew.
- Scroll to JOIN REQUESTS.
- Tap ACCEPT or DECLINE once and wait for the server response.
How this works
Pending requests are visible only to a Crew owner or admin, and the list refreshes while that surface is open. Deciding one is a server write, so it needs connectivity and is not queued.
Accepting grants access to everything scoped to the Crew: the positions members are currently sharing, its Markers, and its Zones. Declining leaves the requester with no membership and no route into the Crew.
A Crew already at its plan member limit cannot accept another member until room is made.
What happens next
A settled request leaves the pending list, and the approved member appears once Crew data refreshes.
Common problems
- Only Crew owners and admins can see pending requests.
- A settled request disappears from the pending list.
- Approval does not make the new member Live; that remains their own choice.
