Why STALKR Says Tracking Enforced

Short answer

Tracking Enforced is a Crew rule that prevents everyone in that Crew, including the owner, from going Dark. An authorized owner must turn enforcement off in Crew settings before the Live/Dark control can change.

Steps

  1. Open the Crew settings as an authorized owner.
  2. Disable enforced tracking.
  3. Return to the map drawer and use GO DARK if needed.

What happens next

The saved change appears in the relevant map, library, or sharing scope when the service confirms it.

Related settings

  • Crew settings → tracking mode

Common problems

  • Location permission is still required; enforcement cannot make a denied device publish a location.
  • The Live/Dark button refuses the change and explains why.
