How to Go Live
Open the map drawer and tap GO LIVE. STALKR enables sharing for the selected Crew and requests a fresh GPS fix so viewers do not immediately receive an old point.
Steps
- Select the intended Crew.
- Open the map drawer.
- Tap GO LIVE.
- If location access is off, open system Settings and allow it.
How this works
Live publishes your current authorized position to the selected Crew, with direction, accuracy, status, and battery information where the device reports it. It is per Crew: Live in one Crew does not make you Live in another, and it does not start a Journey.
Going Live requests a fresh fix rather than reusing the last one, so viewers are not immediately handed an old point presented as current.
There is no durable offline outbox. A write that fails is not queued for later delivery, so a gap in the map is a gap rather than a backlog waiting to flush.
What happens next
Your marker appears to that Crew with a live timestamp, and a heartbeat refreshes presence while you are stationary, subject to what the OS allows.
Common problems
- STALKR refuses to claim Live when location permission is denied.
- A delivery warning means repeated writes are not reaching the Crew.
- Live is per Crew; switching Crews does not carry your Live state across.
