How the Self Marker Works
Short answer
Your self marker uses the local GPS fix. Its halo shows accuracy and its arrow shows device-facing direction only when STALKR has a trustworthy compass heading.
Steps
- Allow location access.
- Tap recenter to focus your current fix.
- Move the phone in a figure eight if the compass needs calibration.
What happens next
The saved change appears in the relevant map, library, or sharing scope when the service confirms it.
Common problems
- Indoor GPS may be imprecise.
- No arrow is more accurate than a fabricated north-facing arrow when heading is invalid.
