How to Move a Marker
Short answer
Open the Marker, choose Move, hold and drag it to the new position, then tap SAVE. If the server rejects the move, STALKR restores the original position.
Steps
- Tap the Marker and open its details.
- Choose Move.
- Hold and drag the Marker.
- Tap SAVE, or CANCEL to restore it.
How this works
A move is committed only when you press SAVE. Until then the position is local, and if the server rejects the write STALKR restores the original coordinate rather than leaving your map disagreeing with the rest of the Crew.
Moving needs edit authority for that Marker — ownership, or the Crew role that allows it.
Another active map tool also blocks the gesture, because only one tool can own the map at a time.
What happens next
The new position propagates to the Crew over its realtime subscription once the write succeeds.
Common problems
- Only an authorized editor can move the Marker.
- A quick map tap is not the move gesture; hold and drag.
- A failed save restores the original position rather than leaving it moved locally.
