How to Manage STALKR Alerts

Short answer

Open Settings → Safety & Alerts → Alert Preferences to change supported Zone, arrival, SOS, and Crew activity notifications. System notification permission still controls whether alerts can appear.

Steps

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Choose Safety & Alerts.
  3. Open Alert Preferences.
  4. Change the supported alert toggles.

How this works

Preferences decide what STALKR asks to deliver; the operating system decides whether it appears. Both have to allow an alert, and turning a preference on does not grant notification permission.

Location-driven alerts have a third dependency. Zone crossings and Marker arrivals need the background location pipeline, which requires Always access and runs when the OS schedules it.

Remote events need a valid push path as well. A missing push token or unconfigured server delivery prevents a notification that every setting in the app says should have arrived.

What happens next

Changed preferences apply to new events. Alerts already delivered are unaffected, and the in-app activity feed still records what happened.
