Who Can See Your STALKR Location?
Your current location is shared only to authorized scopes you made Live: a Crew, a Journey, or both independently. Crew membership and Journey watch capabilities determine viewers; Dark stops new Crew fixes but does not erase the last authorized point.
How this works
Access is decided by four separate things: Crew membership, object ownership, role checks enforced in the database, and capability-scoped Journey watch tokens. Nothing becomes visible because it is nearby or because someone knows your name.
Crew and Journey are independent audiences. Being Live in one Crew shows your position to that Crew alone; a Journey watcher sees the Journey because they hold its capability link, not because they share a Crew with you.
That link is the part worth guarding. Anyone who receives it may be able to view that Journey until it ends, so forwarding it widens the audience with no further approval from you.
Dark stops new fixes for a Crew without erasing the last authorized point, which stays visible marked offline or stale. Data already cached on a device can remain there until app storage is cleared or the account state resets.
What happens next
Each scope keeps its own audience until you change it in that scope.
Common problems
- A forwarded Journey watch link cannot be recalled; ending the Journey is what stops it.
- Going Dark in one Crew changes nothing for your other Crews or for a Journey.
