How to Follow a Route
Open the Route details and tap FOLLOW ROUTE. STALKR keeps the line visible and shows progress, distance remaining, off-route state, and the next numbered Checkpoint when available.
Steps
- Open the saved Route.
- Tap FOLLOW ROUTE.
- Use the Follow Route HUD while moving.
- Tap STOP FOLLOWING when done.
How this works
Following reports progress against the saved line: distance remaining, whether you are off-route, and the next numbered Checkpoint where the Route has them. It does not route you around anything and it is not turn-by-turn navigation.
A followed Route stays drawn even when the Routes & Checkpoints layer is hidden. That is the one intentional exception to Map Layers, and STOP FOLLOWING is what clears it.
Following needs a usable current location and is foreground map guidance; no background navigation service runs behind it.
What happens next
The Follow Route HUD stays active until you tap STOP FOLLOWING.
Common problems
- Following requires a usable current location.
- This is path progress, not turn-by-turn road navigation.
- Hiding the Routes layer will not remove a Route you are still following.
