How to Use a Check-In Timer

Short answer

Open Safety & Alerts, choose the safety timer, set when STALKR should check on you and who should be notified, then arm it. Acknowledge or resolve it before escalation.

Steps

  1. Open Settings → Safety & Alerts.
  2. Choose a check-in or dead-man timer.
  3. Set time/interval and recipients.
  4. Arm the timer and acknowledge when prompted.

What happens next

The saved change appears in the relevant map, library, or sharing scope when the service confirms it.

Common problems

  • Timer creation and server escalation require connectivity.
  • Notification delivery is not guaranteed emergency dispatch.
