How to Delete a Zone
Short answer
Open the Zone details, choose Delete, and confirm. Hiding the Zone layer is not deletion.
Steps
- Show Zones in Map Layers if needed.
- Open the Zone.
- Choose Delete and confirm.
How this works
Deleting removes the Zone for the entire Crew, along with its monitoring and its Enter and Leave settings. Hiding the Zones layer is the reversible action; deletion is not.
If you only want the alerts to stop, open the Zone and turn monitoring off, or turn off the specific Enter or Leave toggle, and leave the Zone in place.
The delete is a Crew-wide server write and is not queued: if it fails, the Zone stays.
What happens next
The Zone disappears for the Crew once the delete succeeds, and its alert settings go with it.
Common problems
- Hiding the Zones layer does not delete anything.
